What drives the price
- Extent of muscle repair. Significant diastasis recti (muscle separation), common after pregnancy, requires more repair work than a case with minimal separation.
- Skin removal extent. A mini tummy tuck (lower abdomen only) is typically less expensive than a full tummy tuck (hip to hip, including the area around the belly button).
- Combined with liposuction. Many surgeons combine a tummy tuck with flank or back liposuction for better overall contouring — this raises the price but is often done as a single combined surgery rather than two separate ones.
- Hernia repair, if needed. Some patients discover an umbilical hernia during evaluation; repairing it during the same surgery adds cost but avoids a second procedure.

Because a tummy tuck involves muscle repair, recovery is typically longer and more restricted than liposuction — most surgeons recommend a minimum 12–14 night stay in Colombia, with limits on standing fully upright and lifting for several weeks after you're home.
